Good Luck Hunting Peace

Every election year feels like some kids fiddling with the triggers of a feisty bomb and you pray they don't detonate it by mistake. Yes, I too am praying for a peaceful election because no nation develops in war.

But sometimes, it is not necessarily the peace or war out there that impedes us but the one within.  This weekend, my wife and I took the kids to Bojo beach, not too far from the madding crowd, but serene enough to calm our souls.

This week, I will be on assignment in Lagos. Pray for me and remember to not let anyone piss on your dreams. Everything is possible, if we believe. Have a great week.
