A Prayer in Ancient Waters

I have been on assignment in Uganda again and I must say it has been such a privilege getting to meet so many great people.  Eddy, Abu, Adnan, Paul and of course the great man who fed us every afternoon Simon and his beautiful family. Thank you so much for your kindness.

The climax of my trip was when I got to stand in the Nile; at its very source. Standing in such ancient waters was significant for me at so many levels.

Looking at these photographs offer me great consolation for all the hustle I went through flying 540 from Entebbe to Nairobi. They were so late in taking off, I missed my connecting flight from Nairboi to Adis and the guys just abandoned me. Considering their unapologetic and insensitive posture, I had to quickly find my own solution. I have promised I won't fly on their planes again. Not locally, not internationally.

Fortunately, I got back home in time to partake in the naming ceremony and dedication of my new born son, Ato. I am a grateful and happy man.

Enjoy the photographs and please do come back soon.

So I found myself dozing in class and a bit homesick, came here and saw these awesome pics. Looking forward to meeting you in person in GH - I think we met once at Smoothies during a BloGH meeting, but yeah, would love to feature you on Circumspect. Stay blessed :)
