The Bakery

This photograph is from Gagnoa, Ivory Coast, shortly after the war. It was beautiful to watch life return to normal. War is the easiest path to poverty a nation can take. It will always enrich a slimy few but kill many souls, shatter many families, destroy  many dreams, rape many young women, orphan many children and stop a nation's development clock.

The world doesn't need more wars, but wars are hard to avoid when idiots hold reins.
