Ivory Coast vs Benin in pictures

Last week, my son and I went to the Accra Sports Stadium to see the Kumasi Asante Kotoko vs Accra Hearts of Oak match. We didn't get tickets so we had to leave. Today, we didn't want a repeat of that so first my assistant, Daniel Arthur, got us the tickets way in advance. Once, we were in there, someone thought us worthy enough so they escorted us to VVIP (Nhyira, thanks for making that happen). We were there a whole hour before kick off so my daughter decided to find a new toy to play with:
Ivory Coast vs Benin (ACN Qualifiers)
My son loves football and he'd normally support the Black Stars but since they were not playing today, he decided to fly the Ivorian flag:

Obviously, he wasn't the only Ivorienne fan there:)

Some people are so stingy, instead of them buying tickets and coming in to see the match, they decided to fly over and peep through their windows. I wonder how much of the game they saw:

The stadium, at least where we were seated was as quiet as a graveyard till Ivory Coast equalized... and the vuvuzelas started going off:

But the fun had to end at some point and so it did:

Don't forget to take a moment and say a prayer for the Ivory Coast. May they know PEACE again.
Do have a great week.

GREAT photos Nana. Thanks for sharing!
@Sam, I didn't want to be the harbinger of bad news
@ Nyani, she really is proof that girls mature faster than boys :) We meet today right?

@ Rrr, thanks

@ Ama, do visit soon. Ghana is changing so fast, you might not recognize anything when you arrive.

@ Oluniyi, thanks David. I haven't seen you in too long a time. I think you've become Ghanablogging.com's scarcest commodity :) Hehehehe
