Of course, I also dedicate this whole series to all my many "Lindas" and I do hope these photographs sustain you for the short while I'm in the Gambia on assignment.

Just a quick thought on traveling through Africa as a photographer. I was detained at the Angola airport for seven hours because I'm a photographer. I was arrested and shortly released in Abidjan for the same reason.

I hope the Gambia treats me nice; especially considering "tragic stories about some 40 Ghanaians not too long ago."
